We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team! Responsibilities include supporting Total Joint Sales in servicing assigned hospitals, surgery centers, and physician practices.
Responsibilities
- Support Total Joint Sales in servicing assigned hospitals, surgery centers, and physician practices.
- Learn the Arthrex Total Joint product portfolio, including primary and revision hip and knee replacement systems, instrumentation, enabling technologies, and surgical workflows.
- Assist with operating room case coverage by preparing implants, instruments, and equipment while ensuring products are organized, sterile, and available for scheduled procedures.
- Develop professional relationships with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, nurses, surgical technicians, sterile processing departments, and hospital staff.
- Participate in customer visits, product demonstrations, surgeon education, and in-service training alongside senior sales representatives.
- Gain knowledge of hip and knee anatomy, joint replacement procedures, implant systems, and surgical techniques.
- Assist with inventory management, instrument logistics, case planning, product restocking, and loaner set coordination.
- Ensure implant and instrument availability while maintaining accurate inventory records and product accountability.
- Help identify customer needs and provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing requirements, company policies, HIPAA regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Participate in sales meetings, product training, cadaver labs, trade shows, and continuing education opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn through mentorship, coaching, and ongoing technical education.
- Develop the knowledge, clinical expertise, and business skills necessary to advance into an independent Total Joint Sales Representative role.
- Assist with special projects and other territory responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to lift and transport instrument trays and surgical equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1–2 years of professional work experience in sales, healthcare, athletics, customer service, clinical support, or a related field preferred.
- Previous orthopedic or medical device experience is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced operating room environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends based on surgical schedules.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory on a daily basis.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on operating room schedules.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport surgical instrument trays and implants weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must meet all hospital vendor credentialing requirements
