The Opportunity: Direct Marketing & B2B Field Specialist
We are seeking highly ambitious, results-focused individuals to join our field team as a Direct Marketing & B2B Field Specialist. This dual-focus role is critical for our market penetration, requiring you to execute both door-to-door direct sales (B2C) for home services/small renovations and business-to-business (B2B) prospecting for commercial contracts and property management partnerships. You will be responsible for creating immediate brand awareness, qualifying leads for estimation, and closing new business by delivering professional, persuasive presentations tailored to each prospect's construction or maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Dual-Channel Prospecting: Systematically canvass assigned territories, engaging both residential customers (B2C) and commercial property owners/managers (B2B) to promote Arten GC's full range of construction and maintenance services.
- Relationship Building: Quickly establish rapport and trust, representing Arten GC with the highest level of professionalism and integrity as the initial point of contact.
- Service Presentation: Clearly articulate the scope, quality, and value proposition of Arten GC’s services (e.g., roofing, siding, remodeling, commercial fit-outs, maintenance contracts).
- Lead Qualification & Appointment Setting: Identify qualified prospects needing immediate or future construction work. Secure direct sales for smaller services and, critically, set detailed appointments for our Estimators/Project Managers to follow up on larger B2B or B2C projects.
- Territory & Pipeline Management: Utilize company CRM and mapping tools to efficiently track leads, manage your sales pipeline, and document all daily activities and results accurately.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and relay valuable territory and competitor insights regarding construction demand, pricing, and services offered.
- Compliance: Ensure all direct marketing and sales activities strictly adhere to local, state, and company regulations regarding solicitation and construction services.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience: Proven resilience and a self-starting attitude; preference for 6 months in a high-volume, performance-driven sales or field marketing environment. Experience with direct selling or lead generation for high-ticket services is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive verbal communication skills. Ability to speak confidently about construction processes and scope to both homeowners and business professionals.
- Work Ethic: Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field for extended periods and in various weather conditions.
- Logistics: Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Physicality: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while canvassing.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the construction, home improvement, or skilled trades industry.
- Experience with B2B appointment setting, especially targeting property management, facility maintenance, or small business owners.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Acculynx, Hailrecon, Hailtrace, and Companycam) for activity and pipeline tracking.
