What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at Artemis?
We're working directly with the leadership team at a well-known retail company in the middle of a major internal reorganization and building out a shared services function, seeking a driven Tax Manager. The work is fast-paced and sometimes demanding, but it’s also a rare opportunity to be part of a team that’s helping to shape and scale the finance operation from the inside out.
You will
- Challenge tax bills
- Work directly with municipalities and agencies
- Research complex tax issues across multiple jurisdictions (direct and indirect tax)
- Identify real savings opportunities across a growing retail footprint
An ideal candidate brings the following
- CPA (active or inactive) or CPA candidate
- Experience dealing with multi-state / multi-location tax complexity
- You want ownership, not just another compliance cycle
- Experience in public accounting or corporate tax environments
Salary : $135,000 - $150,000
