Pay rate: $24 to $28/hr
Type: 6-month project (potential conversion for the right person)

Must Haves:
- 1 years of professional experience
- Skills include AP/AR, journal entries, acct recs, and data entry
- Ability to handle high-volume AP/data entry - 200 invoices/week
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Mid-low MS Office Excel (Pivot Tables and X-Lookups)
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn/grow
Nice Haves:
- Relevant industry experience construction, infrastructure, etc.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- ServiceTitan or Jonas
Company Overview:
PE-backed, multi-national infrastructure services company with a growing Finance & Accounting function.
- The current Accounting & Finance team is approximately 10 people, with plans to grow the team to approximately 15 as the organization continues to scale.
While the Junior Accountant will initially handle a significant amount of hands-on accounting and manual AP work, they will also have the opportunity to participate in process improvements and automation projects as the department evolves.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, account reconciliations, data entry, and other general accounting tasks.
- Process approximately 200 manual vendor invoices per week, ensuring invoices are accurately entered, coded, approved, and processed.
- Support the accounting team with data cleanup, reconciliations, and other manual processes while automation initiatives are being implemented.
- Work closely with the CFO and accounting team on the automation of the AP process within ServiceTitan, including the transition toward ACH and electronic payment workflows.
- Participate in the initial automation project, with the goal of implementing the new AP/ACH workflow within approximately six weeks.
- Help identify manual or inefficient processes and provide support as the team develops more scalable accounting workflows.
- Work across Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to help improve the flow and availability of financial and operational data.
- Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed while gaining exposure to broader accounting responsibilities.
- Assist with check processing and other routine payment-related activities.
