Introduction
This is an Information Technology Operations based role that supports our Chicago Assembly facility where exciting new vehicles are built for the North American consumer market. As a member of the Plant IT team, you will assist the plant in producing these vehicles by supporting the IT Infrastructure & Applications used in the manufacturing process. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Server administration; Windows (2016) and/or Linux
- Familiar with Cisco routers and switches, including basic staging, troubleshooting, and cable installation
- Knowledge of Windows server and Windows Active Directory/ADFS
- Experience with VM servers (vSphere)
- Experience with Android and iOS, iPhones, iPads
- Experience with Office365 and SharePoint
- Experience with Office automation, Windows, PCs & Printers
- Experience with handheld scanners and imagers
- High School Diploma / GED
- Prior work experience in the manufacturing industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Willingness to learn Cisco software-defined architecture (SDA) troubleshooting and implementation
- Any plant floor automation experience (Control systems, PLCs, etc.)
- PowerShell scripting
- Bachelor's Degree
- Provide technical support for IT Applications, Infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools to plant business customers
- Interface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts
- Support Plant Floor Systems and Corporate teams in resolving incidents
- Provide triage and execute business continuity plans
- Support escalations and provide hands-on assistance to support teams
- Focus on the integration and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware
- Assist site IT manager with managing assignments and workload
- Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation
- Support local network equipment in a Cisco-based environment
- Support local servers across both physical and virtual environments in a Windows and Linux-based ecosystem
- Support Factory of Tomorrow deployments and expansion efforts utilizing IIOT, iOS, software-defined network, mobile, and Android-based equipment
