Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing basic food items and ensuring timely setup and cleanup.
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to facilitate smooth service flow.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant operations and excellent guest service.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation, bussing, cleaning, or catering will be advantageous.
- Experience working in banquet settings or hotel kitchens can be beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic culinary practices and food handling safety standards is a plus.
