- Consumer digitization (arsvideo.com): converting families' film (8mm, Super 8, 16mm, 35mm), videotape (VHS, Hi-8, Mini-DV), photos, slides, and audio (cassettes, vinyl, reel-to-reel) to digital, including HD and 2K transfers, restoration, and personalization.
- Institutional archives (digitizearchives.com): customized, standards-aligned digitization of film, video, still images, audio, and damaged media for museums, historical societies, archives, businesses, and government agencies, plus guidance on preservation grants.
- Pre-construction documentation (preconservices.com): litigation-ready video and photography of above-ground conditions before gas, water/sewer, and roadway projects. Recordings are date-time stamped and GPS-tagged under strict chain-of-custody. ARS has completed 600 projects for contractors across Ohio and the Midwest.

Purpose of the role
The team member is the first point of contact for ARS Video customers by phone, text, email, and in person. The role answers questions, resolves issues, keeps orders moving between departments and supports the front office. Success means every customer feels well served and wants to come back or refer others.
Key responsibilities
Customer communication
- Communicate with customers by telephone, text, email, and face-to-face in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
- Identify and resolve customer issues by offering options and solutions
- Provide detailed information about our services, and go the extra mile to engage customers
- Monitor the shared mail inbox and texting portal that contain customer inquiries
- Keep records of customer interactions
Order processing
- Record incoming and outgoing orders
- Interact with all departments to ensure timely processing of orders
- Receive and ship customer orders
- Perform data entry tasks on spreadsheets
Office and admin support
- Answer phones and open mail
- Handle all customer invoicing and accept payments
- Keep the front office clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Computer literacy, including Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of QuickBooks, CRM software (such as Sales Captain) desirable
- Able to adapt and respond to all different types of personalities
- Able to establish rapport with new people
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Accurate and dependable, with attention to detail
- Willing to learn new technology
Working conditions and physical requirements
- Standard office environment with frequent interruptions and moderate noise
- Sitting at a desk and using a computer and phone for extended periods
- Occasional standing, walking, and lifting packages or supply boxes up to 25 lbs

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
