Duties:
- Provide therapy services to individuals with special education needs, including those with autism, gender issues, and chronic pain.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as dance therapy, art therapy, and counseling.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in therapy.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
- Experience working with individuals with special education needs, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and data collection techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements for therapy services.
