FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
- Cleans and sanitizes the dining room, kitchen, storage area and dietary equipment as needed
- Prepares and cooks food in accordance with state food and nutrition guidelines
- Monitors food temperatures prior to meal service
- Records temperatures of food according to established policy and procedure
- Ensures that an adequate supply of food, supplies, etc. is available at all times
- Follows recipes for planned weekly menu
- Ensures proper quantities of food are prepared
- Ensures that food is prepared in accordance with established time schedules
- Labels, dates and stores food properly according to established policies
- Picks up and disposes of dining room and kitchen trash
- Reports all health and safety concerns to site coordinator
- Follows agency policy and procedure for all reports of abuse and neglect or suspected abuse and neglect
