Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Internship, co-op, campus leadership, or part-time work experience demonstrating professionalism and accountability
- Exposure to accounting, finance, banking, insurance, or business operations through coursework, projects, or work experience

As a Staff Accountant, you will play an important role in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting key accounting and payment functions.
In This Role, You Will
- Review payable reports to identify payments ready for processing
- Research and resolve discrepancies, including missing carrier statements
- Prepare final payable reports and supporting documentation
- Process customer return payments as needed
- Prepare broker payable reports and monthly broker payments
- Process additional payment requests through checks, ACH, and wire transactions
- Assist with journal entry preparation and financial record maintenance
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in company systems
- Partner with various teams to investigate and resolve transaction-related inquiries
- Support internal controls and compliance requirements surrounding payment processes
- Build strong working relationships across the organization through effective communication and collaboration
