Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions and handle cash register operations
- Manage cash handling duties including cash drawer balancing, cash register operations, and retail math calculations
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive product displays in line with merchandising standards
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support store operations by supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily functions
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a bilingual environment are advantageous
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for team support roles
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and basic math for cash handling is essential
- Ability to perform cashiering duties including cash drawer handling and retail math calculations accurately
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to engage with customers professionally
- Willingness to learn about products and contribute to a positive shopping atmosphere
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
