Job Description
Job Title: Compliance Officer
Department: Department of Public Safety
Reports To: Sal DiBenedetto
FLSA Status: Non- Exempt
Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in compliance, auditing, regulatory enforcement, or HOA governance. Knowledge of Township permitting regulations

Position Summary:
The Compliance Officer ensures that the Association operates in accordance with its governing documents, internal policies, and applicable laws and regulations. This role involves monitoring community compliance, investigating violations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting departments in upholding standards. The Compliance Officer promotes a culture of accountability and ethical conduct across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with ALCA’s bylaws, rules, and policies.
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify violations or risks.
- Investigate complaints and reports of non-compliance; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Issue notices of violation andstopwork orders when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of permits, violations, resolutions, and correspondence.
- Prepare monthly compliance reports for HR, General Manager, and Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.
- Assist in developing and delivering compliance training and awareness programs.
- Support enforcement of architectural and property maintenance standards.
- Liaise with township officials and external agenciesregardingpermits and enforcement matters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Stay informed of changes to township permitting regulations and ensure ALCA’s permitting practicesremaincompliant.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret legal and policy documents
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Knowledge of HOA governance and Pennsylvania regulations
