Job Description

The Standards Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in advancing leadership in safety standards and supporting profitable revenue growth. This position ensures compliance with ANSI and ISO standards for visual safety communication, provides expert guidance to customers, and contributes to business development initiatives through standards-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety signs and labels comply with ANSI and ISO standards.
  • Participate in standards committees to strengthen organizations industry leadership.
  • Advise customers on best practices for standards compliance and liability reduction.
  • Support business development through partnerships with insurers, trade groups, and other influencers.
  • Deliver presentations and training on standards-related topics at industry events and seminars.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop programs and campaigns.
  • Monitor standards development and propose internal changes when revisions occur.
  • Inform product development to maintain a current and compliant portfolio.
  • Complete documentation and reporting for assigned performance metrics.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a customer-facing role with exposure to standards compliance.
  • Familiarity with ANSI and ISO standards; in-depth knowledge preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret standards and apply them to real-world applications.
  • Project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
