Job Summary
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated Designated Coordinator for our Adult Foster Care setting, licensed under 245D. This is a rewarding full-time position where you can lead a compassionate team and support our residents in a nurturing environment. Under the direction of the Program Director or Administrator, the Designated Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of all activities, documentation, care plans and services performed within the program, including the supervision of all Direct Support staff.

- Pay Range: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the foster care home
- Develop and implement effective care plans, under the supervision of the DM
- Work with the DM to provide on-the-job training for all new hires of DSS and DL staff.
- Supervise staff and ensure quality care for residents
- Collaborate with families and external agencies
- Maintain compliance with 245D licensing regulations
- Foster a positive and supportive living environment
Educational Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children
- A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses.
