Arrow Termite & Pest Control is HIRING EXPERIENCED FIELD TECHNICIANS to service the Monroe, Ruston, and surrounding areas.
We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Termite & Pest Control Technician with strong communication skills and the ability to sell services. The ideal candidate will perform thorough inspections, identify pest control issues, recommend effective treatment solutions, and help customers protect their homes and businesses.
Key Requirements and Responsibilities
- Pest Control Knowledge & Training: Ability to learn and apply termite and general pest control treatment methods, conduct inspections, and follow all safety procedures. Must obtain and maintain any required state licenses and certifications.
- Customer Service & Communication: Communicate professionally with customers, explain inspection findings, answer questions, and build lasting customer relationships through honest, dependable service.
- Sales & Upselling Ability: Confidently recommend and sell pest control services, termite treatments, preventative maintenance plans, and additional services based on customer needs. Must be comfortable presenting estimates, generating leads, and closing sales.
- Inspection & Problem-Solving Skills: Identify pest activity, termite damage, potential entry points, and conditions that may attract pests. Provide appropriate treatment recommendations and maintain accurate service records.
- Dependability & Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance, arrive on time, manage daily service appointments, follow company policies, and work toward established service quality and sales goals.
Ideal Candidate
- 2 Years of of previous pest control, termite treatment, and sales experience
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable discussing prices, presenting service options, and closing sales.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record/Clear Background
- Adhere to pre-employment drug testing based on federal standards
- Willingness to obtain any required Louisiana pest control licenses or certifications.
We are looking for someone who can deliver quality pest control service while recognizing sales opportunities and helping customers choose the right solutions for their needs.
Work Conditions
- Work inside and outside in various weather elements
- Work with small engines, fumes, dust, and chemicals
- Ability to work in tight, confined spaces, and crawl spaces
- Move up to 40lbs that may include lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling
