The Tax Strategy Director will focus on the tax planning which involves developing and implementing ideas that are aligned with the firm’s long-term global tax strategy as well as researching and understanding legislative changes and assisting with local tax audits.
Responsibilities
$180,000-$190,000

The Tax Strategy Director will focus on the tax planning which involves developing and implementing ideas that are aligned with the firm’s long-term global tax strategy as well as researching and understanding legislative changes and assisting with local tax audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with the annual global cash tax forecasting
- Respond to tax audit inquiries from foreign tax authorities
- Manage and assist with quarterly REIT testing
- Develop and implement tax planning ideas in various jurisdictions
- Assist with M&A and internal restructurings by providing structuring considerations and relevant tax-related inputs
- Research tax issues and ad hoc requests
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Post-graduate degree in tax or law
- 8-12 years of experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm
- Prior experience at a REIT preferred
