Our client is an employee-owned investment advisor with over $7 billion in AUM. The firm focuses on asset-based and structured credit opportunities on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fund tax estimates, foreign tax accruals, and other ad hoc informational requests on a monthly basis
- Prepare various state and local franchise and business tax returns
- Prepare state sales and use and commercial rent tax returns
- Prepare annual FBAR filings
- Review work papers, returns, K-1s, informational filings and notices for all fund entities and SPVs
- Assist in creating management company/GP entity financial reporting
- Prepare or review calculations and documentation for various types of reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of related experience
- CPA preferred
- Experience within public accounting
- Strong tax and accounting research and analytical skills
