Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end application performance, scalability, and uptime across the platform
- Architect and develop robust, scalable backend services and APIs that support business-critical functionality
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and extensibility through best practices and thoughtful design
- Develop and manage integrations that connect frontend applications with backend services and data systems
- Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to provide visibility into system performance
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Support infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-10 years of experience within financial services, fintech, and/or digital assets
- Comfortable owning production systems end-to-end
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript including React and Next.js
- Backend development experience using Node.js and/or Python
- Experience with cloud infrastructure built on AWS including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and related services
