SAP Program Director

About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on SAP S/4HANA Program Director to lead and actively shape an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation. This role is ideal for a seasoned SAP leader who enjoys being close to the solution—guiding architecture, design decisions, and execution—while still leading complex programs across multiple business units.

You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and stabilizing SAP S/4HANA across Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay, ensuring the platform delivers measurable business value from day one.

What You’ll Do (Hands-On & Technical)

• Lead the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation across multiple business units with direct involvement in solution design, configuration strategy and deployment.
• Provide hands-on oversight of Procurement, Sales Orders, MRP, Demand & Supply Planning, and Warehouse Management processes.
• Own solution architecture decisions, including system integrations, data migration approach, EDI strategy, and cloud connectivity.
• Actively guide fit-to-standard workshops, configuration decisions, and design trade-offs to balance SAP best practices with business needs.
• Govern the SAP solution lifecycle, including releases, upgrades, enhancements, and defect resolution.
• Partner closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot complex issues and drive timely resolution.
• Lead and manage System Integrator (SI) resources, ensuring technical quality, adherence to standards, and on-time delivery.
• Define and monitor technical KPIs related to system performance, stability, data quality, and user adoption.
• Champion change management and user enablement, ensuring solutions are usable, adopted, and sustainable.
• Stay current on SAP S/4HANA innovations, public cloud releases, and roadmap to continuously optimize the environment.
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 10 years of progressive SAP experience including deep hands-on involvement in design and delivery, and 5 in leadership roles.
• Proven success leading SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong functional and technical knowledge across Procurement, Supply Chain, Planning, MRP, Sales Orders and Warehouse Management modules.
• Solid understanding of SAP integrations (API-based, middleware, EDI) , data migration, and cloud architecture.
• Working knowledge of SAP Activate, fit-to-standard methodology, and Cloud ALM.
• Ability to dive deep into issues while maintaining an enterprise-wide perspective.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• SAP certifications (S/4HANA Cloud, Activate, Cloud ALM) preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%.

Salary Range: $140,000 – $185,000 (Bonus Eligible)
