Thriving, well established family business that has NEVER HAD A LAYOFF is seeking a machine operator / material handler. $500 NEW HIRE BONUS!!!! - This role manages all activities associated with operating assigned machinery and corresponding equipment, including set up, operation, cleanup and recommending improvements to operations. This is a second shift position (3:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday thru Thursday).
Responsibilities
- Perform material handling functions
- Direct and execute operation of machinery
- Direct and execute machinery set up/configuration
- Guide/feed materials into machinery as needed
- Monitor machinery for proper operation
- Direct and execute preventative maintenance activities
- Escalate issues or concerns to Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and/or Management as needed
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
- Participate in job related training
- Additional duties may be assigned by management

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb a step ladder, push and/or pull
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work standing
- Strong hand-eye coordination
