🚨 We're Hiring: Senior Counsel – Labor & Employment
📍 Gilbert, AZ (Hybrid) | 💼 Full-Time | 💰 $160,000–$180,000 Bonus
I'm excited to be partnering with a growing organization to recruit a Senior Counsel – Labor & Employment. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced employment attorney who wants to make a strategic impact while positioning themselves for future executive legal leadership.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you'll serve as the company's trusted advisor on labor and employment matters across multiple jurisdictions. Even more exciting, this role is designed to evolve into a Deputy General Counsel position for the right individual.
In this role, you'll:
✅ Advise executive leadership and HR on employment law, workplace compliance, and employee relations
✅ Lead strategy for employment litigation, EEOC/DOL matters, and workplace investigations
✅ Counsel on terminations, reductions in force, accommodations, leave laws, restrictive covenants, and other complex employment issues
✅ Draft and review employment agreements, workplace policies, and legal guidance
✅ Partner with outside counsel and internal business leaders to proactively manage legal risk
✅ Help shape employment compliance and workplace training initiatives
What we're looking for:
✔ J.D. from an accredited law school
✔ Active Arizona Bar license in good standing
✔ 5 years of labor and employment law experience
✔ Experience counseling employers on multi-state employment issues
✔ Strong legal writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Experience with EEOC, Department of Labor, and state agency matters is a plus
