Position: Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Location: Orlando, FL

Pay: $60/hour

Experience: At least 2 years of primary care experience required.

Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with Florida's scope of practice laws.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Provide preventive care, screenings, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Active Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license is required.
• National board certification required (Family Nurse Practitioner preferred).
• Active Drug Enforcement Administration registration required or eligible.
• Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Florida regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills.
