We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in preschool or early childhood settings, and will be passionate about fostering children's development and education. This role is essential in assisting teachers with classroom management, lesson implementation, and providing individualized support to students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing and implementing lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Provide care and supervision for students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Help facilitate small group activities and provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
- Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive play and educational activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including managing supplies and materials.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to childhood education.
Experience
- Previous experience working with students in an educational or caregiving capacity is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices, particularly in preschool settings.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment.
- Skills in first aid and toddler care are advantageous.
- A passion for educating young children and supporting their growth in a classroom setting.
