Job Title: Inventory Control
Overview: Ensures product/packaging quality, accurate labeling and inventory tracking to support production efficiency.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Able to operate hand-held tools, including trimming knife, de-burring tool, jigs and fixtures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Maintain safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Prefer prior plastic injection molding or manufacturing experience
Responsibilities:
• Visually inspect parts for acceptability and immediately report any questionable product to production supervisor and/or quality control.
• Using scales, perform quantity weigh-counting on all product being produced on the shift.
• Tare weigh boxes for all products packed at Inventory Control station.
• Tare weigh pallets and slip sheets on any products that are bulk packaged.
• Accurately create all serial bar code labels in ERP system for boxes being shipped and ensure weight labels match bar code labels for quantity.
• Confirm QC Inspection stamp is on box label before taping box for shipping; scan each label as “produced” and send box to final area.
• Accurately complete inventory counts for each shift and provide production data to Supervisor.
• Report inconsistencies in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support continuous improvement in production processes.
• Assist production supervisor in giving breaks to Operators as needed.
• Adhere to attendance policy and break schedule
• Any other duties as assigned
