We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Administrator to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in administering and supporting Software AG WebMethods environments, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and seamless integration across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, administer, and maintain the Software AG WebMethods platform.
Manage and support Integration Server, Universal Messaging, My webMethods Server, Trading Networks, Broker, and Optimize components.
Perform WebMethods upgrades, migrations, patches, and version compatibility assessments.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive optimization strategies.
Configure and maintain clustered and high-availability environments.
Support deployment activities across development, test, staging, and production environments.
Implement and maintain security configurations, including SSL certificates, LDAP/Active Directory integration, and access controls.
Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity testing.
Automate routine administration tasks using shell scripting, PowerShell, or other automation tools.
Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams.
Participate in on-call support rotations and provide timely resolution of critical incidents.
Required Skills & Experience
6 Experience with WebMethods versions 9.x, 10.x, and above.
Strong understanding of WebMethods architecture, clustering, and high availability.
Experience with WebMethods installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
Knowledge of Java, JMX, JVM tuning, and performance optimization.
Experience with web servers such as Apache and load balancers.
Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or ELK Stack.
Knowledge of API management and microservices architecture.
Software AG certifications are highly desirable.
ITIL process knowledge and experience with incident, problem, and change management.
