Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments for enterprise clients. This role involves working closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to build modern cloud-native solutions aligned with best practices.
You will contribute to cloud architecture, automation, deployment processes, and performance optimization while ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Support migration of applications and systems to cloud environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and automated deployment
- Configure and manage cloud networking components including virtual networks, load balancers, DNS, and firewalls
- Ensure security best practices including identity access management, encryption, and compliance standards
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of cloud applications
- Collaborate with development teams to support microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
- Maintain technical documentation for cloud environments and deployment workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS through academic projects, internships, or professional experience (2 years preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Understanding of DevOps practices and automation concepts
- Familiarity with REST APIs and application deployment processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Experience with Git-based version control workflows
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards
