Arnold's Meats at the Barn is a family-owned retail meat shop seeking an experienced Meat Cutter / Butcher to join our reliable, hard-working team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong meat processing expertise who works well with others and can be depended on day after day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare beef and pork for retail sale
- Break down primal cuts into retail portions
- Cut meat to customer specifications
- Operate a band saw and other meat-cutting equipment safely
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization in the meat department
- Work as a team player in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional meat cutting experience
- Experience in retail meat cutting or meat processing
- Strong knowledge of beef and pork fabrication
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
