What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Clerk (6589) position at Arnold Oil Company of Austin?
Billing Clerk reports to the Software Data Supervisor, and is responsible to process Customer Orders and Site Orders daily. They will send invoices to customers daily out of PDI. They will work with Dispatchers to make sure all paperwork is turned in daily. Billing Clerk works close with Vendors to make sure all pricing from Vendors is accurate.
The primary job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Bills out all fuel orders (customer and site orders)
- Makes sure all pricing is correct, including base price, margin, freight, and taxes
- Ensures fuel is in the tanks prior to billing
- Assists customers with invoices and any back up documents they want
- Ensures vendor invoices are entered into PDI and posted
- Works with the Software Data Supervisor during month closing
- Makes sure all vendor invoices and orders posted before fuel can be closed
The skill requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Keen attention to detail
- Understanding of DTN
- Understanding of margin, freight, and tax
- Ability to follow both written and oral directions
- Strong communication skills
