Warehouse Parts Delivery Person – Mining Industry (Job Description)

A Warehouse Parts Delivery Person in the mining industry is responsible for the efficient handling, transport, and delivery of critical mining parts and components. The role ensures mining operations remain productive by getting the right parts to the right location on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare mining parts and components for delivery from the warehouse.
• Load and unload parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as required.
• Deliver parts safely and on schedule to mining sites, workshops, or maintenance areas.
• Verify accuracy of orders, delivery documents, and inventory records.
• Maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean, safe, and compliant with company standards.
• Follow safety procedures, especially given the heavy and specialized nature of mining equipment.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and mechanics to coordinate urgent or high-priority deliveries.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, such as stocking shelves, cycle counting, and organizing inventory.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or parts handling (mining industry preferred).
• Valid driver’s license; heavy-vehicle experience. CDL preferred or willing to get one.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or basic inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced environment with frequent physical activity.
• May require driving on mine sites, rough roads, or remote areas.
• May involve shift work depending on the operation.
