Job Description:
As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our property remains an attractive and comfortable place to call home. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Grounds Maintenance:
- Regularly mow lawns, trim shrubs, and maintain flower beds.
- Ensure that sidewalks and parking areas are clear of debris and safe for residents.
- Perform routine landscaping tasks to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the property.
Janitorial Duties:
- Keep common areas, such as the clubhouse, lobby, and restrooms, clean and well-maintained.
- Remove trash and maintain trash receptacles in all designated areas.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs.
Customer Service:
- Interact with residents and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Safety:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or janitorial work is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic landscaping and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
