AI Training, Learning & Development Specialist / LMS Admin

Position Overview
Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Generative AI Learning & Development Training & Support Specialist to join their team on a long-term contract basis The position is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting generative AI training and enablement programs for employees across the enterprise, while working closely with application administrators to ensure support for tools is provided to all users. The organization is driven by a desire to support and enhance employee experiences through consumer-grade technology.
What You’ll Do
Training Design & Delivery
- Design and facilitate live and on-demand training on generative AI tools, including (but not limited to) enterprise ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude.
- Develop clear, engaging learning materials — including guides, job aids, and video content — for employees at varying levels of AI fluency.
- Partner with HR and corporate Learning & Development teams to design and develop AI-focused soft skill trainings in addition to tool-based trainings (e.g., “Leading Change in the Age of AI”).
- Track training participation, learner feedback, and engagement metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to stay current on AI tool updates and surface relevant learning opportunities.
Program Support
- Support Learning & Development programs by coordinating sessions, managing logistics, and contributing content.
- Serve as a support resource for employee questions about AI tools, use cases, and responsible use guidelines.
- Partner with HR, Legal, and IT stakeholders to ensure training reflects current organizational policies on data privacy and AI usage.
Platform Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for ChatGPT Enterprise and Claude Enterprise environments.
- Manage platform configuration, organizational settings, user provisioning, and workspace administration.
- Maintain organizational structures, team workspaces, and access segmentation by department or business unit.
- Serve as the primary liaison with OpenAI and Anthropic enterprise account teams; escalate complex technical issues to vendor support when required.
- Generate utilization reports for license consumption, compliance, and chargeback.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of proven experience in training, instructional design, adult education, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience administering enterprise AI platforms such as OpenAI or Claude Enterprise.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar); experience delivering training on generative AI tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security and compliance practices.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience designing and facilitating both live (virtual/in-person) and asynchronous learning programs.
- Working knowledge of adult learning theory and its application to AI-related content.
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment where tools, policies, and best practices evolve quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with consistent attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools — specifically Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree in adult education, instructional design, communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
Preferred
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
