Quality Control Technician
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspectors primary role is to verify product against blueprint and specification parameters. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a precision machine shop environment.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient blueprint reading skills including GD&T
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Proficient MS Word and Excel knowledge
- Basic knowledge of geometry and trigonometry
- Familiarity with English and Metric measurement systems.
- AS9100 QMS experience a plus
- CMM experience a plus – preferably Calypso
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure product quality by conducting receiving and in-process inspections.
- Evaluate finished product using standard measuring equipment.
- Document report of findings on supplied templates.
- Evaluating parts against drawings and specifications.
- Data collection and analysis of compiled electronic measurements.
- Controlling non-conforming product and material.
- Monitor and manage gages for calibration schedule.
The ideal candidate will have a desire for a career in high precision aerospace and commercial machine shop inspection. You must be able to retain knowledge and learn quickly.
