Our commitment to quality and innovation has cemented our position as industry leaders.Role OverviewThe responsibility and function of a Quality Control Technician is to provide Quality Control services to assure that incoming and outgoing products meet the established standards. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth production of our durable and reliable conduit products. Your expertise will drive our mission to exceed industry standards through effective and efficient production processes.Salary Non-Exempt Payrate: Eligible for Overtime hours Start: $50,000.00 Annual SalaryTeams are working 12-hour shifts. Eight (8) hours regular rate and Four (4) hours Overtime rate each day worked. Shift includes a One (1) hour paid Meal BreakDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform sample inspection of all production in accordance with established standards.Perform dimensional checks of start-up or suspect product using micrometers, Vernier Calipers and Pi tapes.Conduct physical testing such as impact, compression and cone test.Communicate verbally, written, or electronically as needed.Select and/or inspect all customer sample orders.Conduct sample inspection and release of all incoming component parts.Any and all duties as outlined and tasks/duties requested by the immediate supervisor. Required Skills/Abilities:Wear and maintain in good condition all personal safety devices required and work in a safe and efficient manner with relation to machinery and co-workers at all times. Be aware of safe work method and working conditions. Do everything possible to prevent personal injury and injury to others. Ability to handle materials and equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Ability to assess products for Quality Compliance.Physical Requirements Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to learn, apply and demonstrate Standard Operating Procedures required for position. Detail oriented. Ability to adhere to company policies and rules. Good working knowledge of measuring tapes, calipers and micrometers. Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift or push weights up to fifty (50) pounds for prolonged periods of time during assigned work shift. Manual dexterity as needed to operate machinery and equipment and complete assigned tasks.
