Job Overview
This is a subcontracted position. Cleaners must supply their own general cleaning products and have some prior experience in cleaning.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are pristine
- Provide janitorial services including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and supply replenishment
- Assist with basic cooking tasks or meal prep when required for client needs
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and promptly
- Follow safety protocols related to sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning equipment
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and floor care techniques
- Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles is a plus
- Familiarity with laundry operations and carpet cleaning methods
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
