Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

Night Shift - 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with documented experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to a cardiac population in a 28-bed unit. You will be responsible for monitoring patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and administering cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU.


• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes as necessary.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.


• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.


• May also care for lower acuity telemetry patients within the same unit.

• Minimum of 2 years of documented nursing experience in a similar sized facility.


• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.


• Experience in a cardiac care setting is preferred.
