This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift, 3x12.0 hours per week.

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises LPNs, CNAs, and orientees while adhering to the Select Medical Way and Core Values, which prioritize safety for both patients and employees.

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized plans of care.


• Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis, collaborating with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team.


• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure quality outcomes through direct patient care.


• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.


• Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care and seek consultation for complex decisions.


• Provide direction and supervision for ancillary nursing personnel and ensure personal and environmental safety.


• Contribute positively to the unit's functioning through team building and effective communication with staff.


• Monitor supplies and equipment to maintain effective operations.


• Encourage personal professional growth and development.

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.


• ACLS required prior to first shift (for specific locations).


• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.
