Surgical Nurse Position

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Surgical Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess circulating experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in an acute care setting.

Shift will be Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with call responsibilities for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Assist in various surgical procedures including general surgery, podiatry, cataracts, OB/GYN, pain management, and oculoplasty.


• Provide direct patient care utilizing nursing skills and knowledge.


• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures.


• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

• BLS Certification required.


• Current and active nursing license.


• Experience in a surgical nursing role, particularly in a circulating capacity.
