Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule (07:00 - 15:00). Weekend rotations are required every 4 weeks with compensatory days off.

We are seeking a motivated and self-starting Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for a contract position in a short-term acute care and Level III trauma center. The position requires flexibility as the therapist will float between units including acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab.

• Conduct evaluations and treatment plans for patients across various settings within the facility.


• Provide treatment for diagnoses such as multi-trauma, stroke, orthopedic, and neurological conditions.


• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.


• Manage a patient load of 8-10 patients per day, ensuring productivity standards are met.

• Washington State Occupational Therapist License (valid and in hand).


• A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is required.


• Experience in inpatient rehab is a plus, but not required.


• Must have proficiency with the Epic charting system.
