Registered Nurse - MICU

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MICU team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Manage complex medical conditions including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, and multi-organ failure.


• Provide critical care nursing with a patient ratio of 1:2, with the possibility of 1:1 based on patient acuity.


• Administer medications and titrate drips as needed.


• Perform thorough patient assessments and interpret lab results.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.


• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.

• Valid New York State RN license required in hand.


• Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience preferred.


• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.


• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.

This position requires a night shift schedule, working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.
