This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med Surg department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, managing a range of medical-surgical conditions. This role requires a nurse who is willing to float to different areas of the unit as needed and has a strong background in acute hospital nursing care.

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting


• Administer medications and monitor patient responses


• Utilize rapid response/code teams when necessary


• Manage peripheral line care and oxygen administration


• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE guidelines


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including physical therapy and social services

• New York State RN License


• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience


• Prior travel nursing experience preferred


• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred


• Experience with EPIC charting system is required


• Flu vaccine required; exemptions must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start
