Labor & Delivery RN – Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift with the flexibility to float to other units as needed.

We have an opening for a Labor & Delivery RN, which includes responsibilities in the Post-Partum and Baby Unit. The role may also involve caring for overflow from the Progressive Care Unit within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.

• Provide care for laboring mothers during delivery and immediate post-partum period.


• Assist in caring for newborns and managing post-partum recovery.


• Float to other nursing units as necessary to meet patient needs.


• Engage in department quarterly education sessions to stay current in best practices.

• Current RN license in the state of Vermont.


• Experience in labor and delivery, post-partum, and neonatal care preferred.
