Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday support required.

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with extensive experience in a Medical ICU setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management, possess strong critical thinking skills, and work well within a team. The role includes assisting providers with bedside procedures, including chest tube insertions and intubations, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Care for patients in a 10-bed Medical ICU with a nurse-patient ratio of 2:1.


• Manage ventilators and perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring.


• Administer critical care pharmacology, including IV sedation, paralytics, and vasopressors.


• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.


• Conduct bedside shift reports and participate in nurse leader rounding.

• Must have recent medical ICU experience in a large facility.


• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.


• Ability to float as needed within the facility.


• Strong familiarity with Cerner documentation system.
