CVOR Tech - 13-Week Contract Position

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) with additional 2-3 call shifts per 6-week schedule.

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, particularly in the cardiovascular operating room. A commitment to patient care and a thorough understanding of surgical procedures are essential.

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room for open heart surgery.


• Scrub in for procedures and maintain a sterile environment.


• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to provide high-quality patient care.


• Monitor patient conditions and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.


• Participate in the management and organization of surgical supplies and equipment.

• 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience.


• Certified Surgical Technician through NBSTSA.


• Experience scrubbing for open heart surgeries.


• Must have cardiovascular (CV) experience at a Level 1 Trauma facility.


• Active NJ License is required.
