What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Armenian Church of Our Saviour?
The Armenian Church of Our Saviour is the first Armenian Church in America and serves over 500 families in Central Massachusetts. We are conveniently located in the beautiful Salisbury St. cultural district of Worcester near the WPI campus. We are looking for a part time Office Administrator to handle all aspects of our Church's day to day administrative operations. Hours are flexible, but 9am-1pm is recommended as a minimum. Some remote work is possible as well. We have modern IT and computer systems. Duties and Responsibilities to include:
- Assisting the Pastor in coordinating appointments, hospital visitations, and meetings
- Maintaining the Church's calendar of events
- Answering email and phone communications
- Maintaining the master database of Church members
- Generating correspondence on Church affairs
- Recording and acknowledging donations
- Generating the weekly bulletin
- Creating the weekly e-Newsletter
- Maintaining and updating the Church nwebsite
- Coordinating hall rental activities
- File organization and other adminmistrative duites
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency
- Knowledge of graphic arts, web design, and accounting software a plus
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills a must
- Good ethics and values
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
