Armand Corporation, an M/WBE Construction Management and Program Management firm celebrating over 34 years in the industry, is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our construction management (CM) team.Specific tasks will include, but not be limited to, management of construction activities, security sensitive awareness implementation and training, design review, and reporting. Additional tasks shall include:Establish good working relationships with current and potential clients; require well-developed communication, organizational, and teamwork skillsMaintain detailed daily reports and cost monitoring using project management, visual communication software, and Excel to ensure adherence to deadlines and schedulesCollaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the projectRespond to work delays and other problems and emergenciesManage permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, coordinate inspectionsEnsure state, local, and federal safety and environmental compliance with requirementsManage project budget, minimize and track expenses; provide finance reporting as neededPrioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressuresRequirementsAt minimum, the following qualifications are required:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.5 years of experience working with design documents, contract documents, and specificationsKnowledge of CPM SchedulingAbility to implement Quality and Safety PlansOSHA Training requiredProficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Microsoft Project/PrimaveraDetailed knowledge of City and State building codesBenefitsArmand Corporation offers competitive salaries and a full benefit package including health, vision, dental and life insurance; 401K plan; paid holidays; and paid time off.
