Position Overview
The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate movement, tracking, and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient order fulfillment, and smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a hi-lo (forklift) safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately based on work orders and pick lists
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damages
- Label, barcode, and scan inventory using warehouse management systems
- Maintain accurate inventory records through consistent use of scanning and tracking processes
- Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations for efficient access
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Communicate inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the Inventory Manager promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines
Experience with cabinets is a plus.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
