Job description

MUST POSSESS A CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SUPPORTER LICENSE

11am -7pm or 12pm- 8pm

Duties

• Must possess Peer Support Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Provide support and guidance to individuals facing behavioral health challenges
• Conduct motivational interviewing and peer support sessions to assist clients in making positive changes
• Assist with crisis management and intervention when necessary
• Collaborate with other licensed professionals, such as social workers and mental health counselors, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Utilize knowledge of addiction and mental health techniques to support clients in their recovery journey
• Offer mentoring and guidance to individuals seeking to improve their overall well-being

Qualifications

• Must possess Peer Support Certification
• High school diploma/GED or a degree in a related field (e.g., case management, social work, psychology, counseling)
• Experience working in behavioral health or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of collaborative interventions and management techniques
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing and behavioral health theories
• Familiarity with addictions and mental health principles
• Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other professionals
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals in need

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 
  4 hour shift

• 8 hour shift

• Choose your own hours

• Monday to Friday

• Weekends as needed
