Position Summary
- Accurately pick, verify, and stage customer orders using pick tickets or RF scanners
- Inspect items for accuracy and damage, reporting discrepancies as needed
- Prepare orders for shipment by packing, labeling, and selecting appropriate materials
- Generate shipping labels and documentation; coordinate carrier pickups and timely dispatch
- Load and unload trucks manually or with material handling equipment
- Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Label, store, and update inventory accurately using the warehouse management system
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety procedures and assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year of recent work experience in order picking, shipping, and/or receiving in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets, packing slips, and other shipping/receiving documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (SAP) and RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck) safely a must. Forklift certification is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ?
- Good communication skills in the English language.
- Trustworthy and reliable, with regular, on time, attendance.
- Availability to work overtime, per the business needs.
