Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and other self-care routines
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress to inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in developing communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors through engaging teaching strategies
- Help manage behavior challenges using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques aligned with ethical standards
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record standards
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency across home and community settings for optimal client outcomes
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and special education practices
- Experience assisting with ADLs and supporting children in educational or home-based settings
- Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress accurately
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients’ families, team members, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans while maintaining professional and ethical standards outlined by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
