Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RBT to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy, including applied behavior analysis techniques, tailored to each client’s needs.
- Assist children and individuals with developmental disabilities in completing daily activities such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment plans and ensure effective behavior management strategies are implemented.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans and behavioral health goals.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior reports, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavior management techniques that promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during patient care activities; assist with emergency responses if needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles, behavior management strategies, and special education practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and maintaining confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs and implementing individualized care plans in a clinical or educational setting.
- Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively; ability to analyze data for treatment adjustments.
